History-

These ankle-high shoes replicate archeological finds in Schleswig and Konstanz, Germany.They are suitable for the period 1100 - 1400 a.d. 

A turnshoe was a type of footwear made of leather that was used during the Middle Ages. 

It was so named because it was put together inside-out, and then was turned right side out once finished.

Details:-

-above ankle outer lacing

- the upper leather is 1.8 mm thick, made with non-chemical-based tanning methods

- 4mm thick leather sole, also with vegetable tanning

- hand-made in the authentic turn-sewn method
