History-
These shoes are very authentic reconstructions after findings from the Viking city of
Haithabu (near Schleswig), which are dated back to 900-1150 AD. The pattern is a high
cut with lacing around the shaft both above and below the ankle. The shoes have typical
raised heel, which is common for Northern-European shoes of the early middle age.
Details:-
-above ankle outer lacing
- the upper leather is 1.8 mm thick, made with non-chemical-based tanning methods
- 4mm thick leather sole, also with vegetable tanning
- hand-made in the authentic turn-sewn method
We accept US, UK and European sizes. Buyer can also send their custom sizes.
Please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery.
These are custom made shoes and cannot be canceled once they are started.
