The caligae were the standard military shoes from the beginning of the roman republic until the III century A.D. Its iron hobnails brings a firm grip on the terrain to the legionary. Flat hobnails are used in sole.

- These sandals were worn by roman legionnaires as well as by peasants.
- 3mm thick leather
- nailed leather soles
- colour: brown
